Re: League Discussion Thread

Or more specifically, a house cleaner who forgot to turn off the crock-pot and got out of the house with a pillowcase full of valuable draft picks and all-stars.

He's like Jack in "This Is Us". (I'm thinking of the scene with the car salesman.)

Re: League Discussion Thread

Ditto. Was there a hostile takeover of the Crimsons? The owner of the team is a different user name, and I cannot log in.

Also, it appears my long reliever is the next scheduled starter?

Re: Did you see that?

Just weeks after Carlos Danger spoiled Anthony Buffington's no-hit bid with a single after 26 outs, rookie Shannon Nieves pitched the second no-hitter in Crimsons history against division rival Bayside.

(First no-hitter was pitched by Dontae Maxwell, back in 2082.)

Godspeed, andujar. 13 years is a LONG time!

Re: League Discussion Thread

With the game-tying run on 3rd! Ugh. Crimsons struck first, and a 2-0 lead could've been enough, given the spotty offense this series. But one bad inning by Buffington gave the Tigers 3 runs and all they needed for the 3-2 win. Ah well, this was the Crimsons' first postseason appearance since 2097 (...

Re: League Discussion Thread

After Buffington started (and won) game four, I had a sense Bayside would have a good chance to force a Game 7. Especially with strikeout machine Simon starting Game 5, and Game 6 being pretty much a toss-up. Our offense, which isn't much to begin with, was shut down in Games 5 and 6. ALso, Finch ha...

Re: League Discussion Thread

I know my record is nothing to brag about, but glad to make it to the postseason once again! (Is there a page that tracks postseason appearances?) Especially after a few 90-win misses several seasons back. Time for a good 'ole Jacksonville vs. Bayside round - I know that would make Hardy break a swe...

I have a few bats available. Each can be had for a second round pick, or relief pitcher.

Re: Completed Trades

This is an old trade, from last season, but since it includes moving a draft pick, it should be posted: "Trade includes 2117 Windy City 2nd Rd pick. If Windy City wins divisional round in 2116 then the pick is delayed to 2118." Crimsons get: P: Tracy Cross ($1,800,000) P: Frank Albright ($...

Re: Trade Talks

Anyone on my active roster is available for trade, although ROY candidate Darren Henson and Donald Corrales (both are hitters) would be the most expensive.

Am willing to do a package deal. Looking for draft picks or younger pitching.

Thanks

Re: Trade Talks

Crimsons are making bats on my active roster and older pitching available.

Looking for draft picks or younger pitching. The only positions players I'm interested in is 3B and SS with plus RA.

Thanks and have a good holiday weekend!

Re: League Discussion Thread

Another thing I just noticed was that Jacksonville also had a great draft. Picked up his MIF of the future, both with elite defense. Neither as good as the guys that NY got but he got them with mid 1sts instead of top picks so it was expected. Lots of great defense in this draft class. Thanks for t...

Re: Trade Talks

If contending teams need help down the stretch (plus another season or so) I'm open to trading my older hitters or pitchers for draft picks.

Thanks,
CF
