Re: NFL News 2015

"Second, at least by the time of the AFC Championship Game, the inflation level of the footballs was a matter of particular interest to Mr. Brady. He told the Patriots' equipment staff that he wanted the footballs inflated at the lowest permissible level; he reviewed a highlighted copy of the ...

Re: NFL News 2015

Though that only keeps you from accessing them from the device. Your cell phone carrier has all those text messages if they were to request them. The NFL would need subpoena power to get those, which they don't have. I'd love to know what they thought they'd find on his phone that they couldn't get...

Re: 2015 Trade Rumors

Wouldn't be the first time AA acquired a player simply to turn around to the Cardinals.

I'd consider it in December, but not now.

Re: NFL News 2015

NFL is upholding Brady's suspension. Not only did Brady elect to not turn over his phone for review, he had the phone destroyed. I'll switch sides now that that little tid bit is out. Mr. Brady explained that when he changes cell phones, he gives his old cell phone to an assistant with the instructi...

Who in this rotation makes you shudder come playoff time? we dont have Bumgarner coming out and starting Game 1 in the playoff series. Nobody said that about Bumgarner until he went out and made it that way. Wacha has a great postseason pedigree. Won a must-win Game 4 against the Pirates in PNC Par...

Re: Yet another return of Jaime Garcia

Cooney hit the DL too, just to note, with appendicitis. Don't know if they've removed it, but I believe that's basically the only treatment. So he'll be out of commission for a bit.

I expect Garcia to keep pitching like he has. Maybe not sub-2 ERA, but sub-3 definitely.

Re: 2015 Ex-Cardinal Watch Thread

The Cubs released right-hander Edwin Jackson on Monday, one week after he was designated for assignment. 2015: $13M 2016: $13M Read an article about how Jackson's deal was pretty much used as a template for a few other pitchers after he signed his. And none of them have worked out well. He's been d...

Yeah. They're taking it easy with Holliday back from his injury still.

Re: Be The GM Thread - 2nd 1/2 of 2015

However, if you want to look at Oakland, I think Brett Lawrie would be an interesting name. He plays third and is right handed. But he would allow you the flexibility to move Carp over to first. But I don't think he'd be much of a fit. Lawrie's not done much more than Reynolds, who is who you're tr...

Re: Be The GM Thread - 2nd 1/2 of 2015

I know his name hasn't appeared anywhere close to a trade rumor, and it is a massive long shot to say the least, but the guy I'd be really happy about Mo going after would be Stephen Vogt . 4) He is only 1st time arb eligible next year, so you would get 3 years of team control. Could be an interest...
