Belle will not be forgotten, but your new Yorkie will find love plentiful in her new home. Spoil her a bit for us too.... ;)

Sorry to hear about the loss of your pet Topps. I know when my dog (Max = 3/4 chow) passes, if he doesn't out live me lol, I to will be devastated, as I always have been with all the dogs I've owned throughout my years. Hang in there my friend :)

A young bat boy has died of injuries sustained when he was struck by a bat at a National Baseball Congress World Series game in Wichita, Kan., on Saturday afternoon.
Kaiser Carlile, age 9, was a bat boy for the Liberal (Kan.) Bee Jays. He was struck in the head on a follow-through swing near the on-deck circle by a player who didn't notice him, and although he was wearing a helmet, sustained severe injuries. Carlile died from the injuries on Sunday.

Hey guys, so while driving home from the Illinois game last night I hit a deer on the interstate at about 75. According to the EMT's I swerved across a lane of traffic, rolled at least twice and flipped end over end into a cornfield about 40 yards off the road. The air bags and such all did their job and I wound up with only a bruised neck and a bunch of cuts and scrapes.

I'm really sore and on a phenomenal pain-med cocktail this morning but it was a wreck that could/should have been so much worse.

I'm probably stuck on the couch for the next few days, so plan to hear a lot from me. The Cards could sure ease my pain a bit by racking up a few more W's!

I consider you all to be family and I've never been more grateful to have you all around. Go Cards!

Oh my EOCF. How scary. You are very lucky. Just take it easy, heal up and keep us posted.

Hopefully a few Cardinal victories will help ease your aches.... 8-)

Sweet Jesus .......... as soon as you're up & around EOCF you better get to a Church & give praise to The Almighty. Wow.

So glad you're kinda ok. My goodness.

Perhaps CrashDavis (Crash) will change back to Freakster - I think you deserve the Crash tag.

Get well soon.

this, while not life-threatening, could be life-changing for me. I've become frustrated at my current job(getting less than the "creator mandated" 40 hours per week for a year plus now). I've been looking for another job, last week I was contacted by AT&T as a candidate for a local call-center. this would mean more money per hour and better benefits, paid every week and getting at least 40 hours a week. I need ya'lls prayers that God will give me this job, I need a new start.

Ten days ago my 8 year old Black Lab, Sadye, was playing ball, going for walks and rides etc. Doing everything a healthy dog enjoys. Then, out of the blue, she contracted auto immune disorder. This is a nasty disease. No one knows how she got it. We have done the treatments, taken the pills and had 1 blood transfusion....all for naught. Sadye died in my arms this morning around 1:00 AM. We have been up for a while now and have lost our best friend.

I've had many animals as friends over the years, but Sadye had the "It" factor. She was a people person and the smartest Lab I've ever had. Everyone who came in contact with her had their day brightened. Please say a prayer for our Sadye. I'm thankful we have Sadye's daughter Hunter a 1 year old Chocolate Lab. I think she may be quite spoiled.

Losing a pet is every bit like losing a member of your family and you never expect to lose one that quickly. So sorry for your loss Tully. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Oh Tully I'm so sorry to hear this & sorry I'm late per replying. I think most of us can honestly say we know how your feeling. My dog Max (whom I mentioned above), passed away this past July the 11th, the same day my wife passed but a year later & this was devastating as well, especially when he acted like he was ok during the day but for whatever reason did a complete turn around that evening. Of course I wasn't able to get him to the Vet soon enough. Anyway my friend, I'll keep you & your family in my thoughts & prayers.
