Found out this evening that he has pneumonia, also running tests to see if there's anything else going on. Not sure about that yet. They've decided to admit him and keep him for a couple of days while they look things over. He's also apparently considering assisted living once this is said and done, that's a hard pill to swallow, never thought I'd see the day he wanted to take that step.

He is 91 though, stuff happens. Thanks for the prayers guys, will update when we know more.

Update...my grandpa is leaving the hospital today. Turns out the pneumonia was causing the problems with his memory as well. He's gotten back to himself and is bouncing back from it nicely. He is however going into assisted living, straight from the hospital to there. Just praying now that he settles in there nicely and it's all good for him. I think he's looking forward to having someone there to help at all times.

Thanks again for all the prayers.

Remember me tomorrow. Its a bitter sweet day for me, the man most like me died of a heart attack 11 years ago and I've missed my grandfather every day since.

Hungo, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are feeling better and are able to watch your beloved Cardinals on TV... I had no idea that you were in the hospital, as I haven't checked this thread for several months. I have always thought that you are a class act. Hope to see you winning more YNot's, in the near future.

Prayers for the horrific shooting in Orlando early this morning. Anyone's thoughts on guns, gays or politics aside, this is just awful all around...

Agreed. A senseless tragedy is what this is. Praying for the families of those lost and for those that were wounded.

Guy went into a club in Orlanda with an assault rifle, handgun, and some other suspicious device. Killed 49 people and wounded 53 others. The reason for the thoughts on guns, gays, or politics is because it was a gay night club. The shooter was also a muslim and claimed allegiance to the leader of Al Kaeda.

And Director of FBI just had a news conference where he outlined that the guy was "heavily radicalized' in Radical Islam.

In the meantime, we pitter-patter around the issue and continue to allow ISIS, Al Queda & The Taliban to grow by the tens of thousands.

God Bless the deceased & the injured, as well as the many more to come.

Prayers for all affected by this terrorist attack.

We first need leadership in order to even begin to formulate a strategy to eliminate the terrorists....if that is even possible. We have none with the current administration and would not with a hiLIARy administration.
