Thank you Hungo and chevy. Definite void in our lives, but Sadye will live on in our hearts. Trying to get our 1 year old chocolate Lab to eat as she is grieving. She'll come around. We'll wait a while then will add to our family with another Lab. Hunter needs to mature, yet she also needs a friend. We've always had at least 2 animals at the same time. Don't want another puppy though. Too old for that. We'll get another rescue Lab when we feel the time is right.

I appreciate each of you and your thoughts.

Thanks Topps. I know it wasn't long ago that you and your Family lost Belle. It hurts for sure. I'll tell you this....Sadye was the LaBron James of Labs. Was taken too young.

I had a lab like that years ago. Got him at 6 weeks old, he only made it to 2. Still miss him like crazy.

I've been a dog lover for as long as I can remember & when I was driving OTR over the years I had seen a lot of stray dogs that I wish I could have brought home with me but my wife, (God rest her soul), would never allow this. Can you imagine that!?! LOL!

I think what tears me up the most is the ASPCA commercials where they show all the dogs caged up asking for donations. It just really makes me wish I could help each & everyone of them! I dislike anyone who have pets and mistreat them in any fashion. Some folks don't deserve to have kids let a lone a pet and/or pets!

Guys I could use some prayers for my Dad for good test results later today. He had and still is having some short term memory loss. Being transferred to Barnes in St. Louis to the neurological department to do some more testing. The original thoughts of the doctors think it is not a huge deal, but with the brain, everything is pretty serious.

Thanks.

As of this morning, it looks like a minor blip for an otherwise very healthy 66 year old. They said it was likely transient global amnesia and that it likely would never affect him again because he isn't one who is affected by epilepsy or had any symptoms of a stroke. He still hates that there is a time yesterday for a few hours that is completely dark that he doesn't remember, but that is pretty much all that is still missing and there is a good chance he can go home today after a couple more standard tests. Not completely done with this but this was about the best diagnosis we could have hoped for. Thanks guys!
