Since Gordon can't be a Cardinal, I'm glad to see him back with the Royals. He'll have the rare opportunity to play his entire career with one franchise.

Even rarer is spending your whole career with a small market operation like Kansas City.

Yeah. Especially when you suck as bad as he did early on in comparison to his expectations.

Upton has signed with the Tigers for 6/$138M. Cespedes is the last remaining slugger on the market.

That pretty much signifies that the Cards are standing pat heading into Spring Training. Very unnerving, but in Mo we trust.

Opt out after 2 years for Upton. Crazy that these teams are giving them out to every player now it seems.

You realize their payroll is up about $17 million from last year on opening day right?

And top 10 in the league in payroll.

Super cheap....

Took the Yankees awhile to confirm that Kozma signing. It was reported as a "source confirms" by Yankees writers two months ago.

Dump light-hitting Brendan Ryan then pick up the less-defensively dynamic, lighter-hitting Petie.

Yea I know what ya mean Chev, doesn't make a bit of sense does it! It's just to bad neither of these guys could ever get their acts together, especially Ryan, cause if I remember correctly he had better than average skills at SS & his range was next to none. Now here's a guy who really could have used some PED's

Dexter Fowler did a 180 and decided to come back to Chicago. Literally the only thing they were lacking was a true center fielder. Now Heyward goes back to RF, which dramatically upgrades their defense and Soler and Schwarber can PLATOON in right?! That's just nuts.

Can't wait for them to win 82 games this year.
