All-Time HR List:

Hank Aaron (755)
Babe Ruth (714)
Willie Mays (660)
Ken Griffey Jr. (630)
Jim Thome (612)
Albert Pujols (600)
Frank Robinson(586)
Harmon Killebrew(573)
Reggie Jackson(563)
Mike Schmidt(548)

**players who cheated on baseball via steroids have 0 HR's...0RBI's.. this can be edited at any time but to the best of my knowledge now, this is the clean list. I think my disgust with the steroid users is well-known***

Albert might overtake Jr. but I think the top 3 will still be intact. With that said:

Congratulations to the Greatest Cardinal, of my life Albert Pujols

This is a huge moment in the career of Pujols. last night, was cut from work early and got home to see the best cardinal of my life hit his historic grand slam. Think about What could of been....what should of been fanfare in the Midwest IN St. Louis, instead ended up as just another older ballplayer running down an individual milestone for a team that hasnot been relevant since 2002. Pujols is still a good player in his late 30s, but not a all-time great player, playing on a no-where near great team

here we are, five and a half years later halfway through the contract Albert signed with the California Angels here we are at a milestone worthy of celebration...except it feels so much like it should of happened somewhere else.

all that money for Albert has gotten the Angels five years with one postseason appearance, with zero playoff wins. He was supposed to make them relavent....is it possible theve instead made him irrelevant?

on this day, for this one milestone its hard not to wonder... What could of been....What should of been

I'm so proud of Albert! I wish he'd done it here. But oh well! He will always be a Cardinal in my book.

I think he'll get past Mays easily. I don't think he'll get to 700.

He averages about 30 homers a year for the Angels and is on pace for about that this year. It should put him about at 620 to finish the season. If he can continue that pace, that puts him on pace to pass Mays about this time in 2019. If he sticks around for 2020, he should be approaching 700. I don't see that happening at 40 years old, but if he's close I could see him sticking around.

I've never suspected Albert of juicing, and I'm gonna keep thinking that way until I hear otherwise. Having said that, as a baseball fan for 45 years I consider it an honor to have to gotten to see him play. We got to see him when he was consistently hitting around .330 with outstanding slugging numbers. These were numbers that are ranked with many of the all time great of the game. His numbers are comparable to Mays, Aaron, Musial and others. A lot of fans brag on Trout, Harper and Bryant but none of them are hitting .330 for numerous seasons in a row like Albert did. Cabrera is the only player in this era I would put along side Albert. Non juicing....Bonds don't count

Albert Pujols collected his 99th and 100th RBI of the season. It’s the future Hall of Famer’s 14th 100-RBI season. Alex Rodriguez is the only other player in major league history with 14 100-RBI seasons.

His .677 OPS is the ninth-worst mark in baseball and it’s easily the worst mark of his career.

Pujols has been worth 1.7 wins below replacement level this season. That’s a full half-win worse than the next-worst player.

He's owed $114M over the next 4 seasons.

17:$26M, 18:$27M, 19:$28M, 20:$29M, 21:$30M. 10-year.

$10M personal-services contract begins once player contract expires.

Plus the Cardinals owe him deferments to be paid in 10 installments of $1.2M from 2020 to 2029

Yet Pujols still bats third more often than not in Scioscia's lineups.

And people got after Matheny for batting Holliday third the last couple years.
