Sierra gets the call and the start. Surprising, but Fowler must not be totally ready. I'm excited to see him. Kinda figured he'd be relegated to defensive replacement and pinch running.

Just being careful with Fowler I guess since they haven't put him on the DL?

Sierra had a decent Spring if I recall, interested in seeing him out there today.

Heading to the bottom of the 11th tied 4-4.

Cardinals bats have gone cold since the third inning.

On to the 13th, still tied 4-4.

Braves had pretty good chances in the 11th and 12th but couldn't break through. Need to get one here before they cash in on one of these chances we keep giving them.

Tommy don't wanna go back to MILB .................. can we get through the bottom of the 14th for the sweep? Make up for blowing a 4-0 lead.

The battle for the 4th outfielder between Pham & Martinez tightens.... 8-)

Pham had a heck of a game. Series for that matter.

4 for 5 today. 2 HRs, 2 singles, 3 RBI, 2 Runs.

7 for 12 in the series. 3 HRs, 5 RBI.

Cardinals pick up a hard fought win the 14th. Tuivalala with his first win, Siegrist with the save!

SWEEP in Atlanta for the second year in a row.

Tightens like Martinez's groin... amirite?

It'll be interesting how long Sierra sticks around. Is it just until Peralta returns? They've been carrying an extra pitcher most of the year, so they could send a reliever down. Peralta went 0-for-3 with 2 Ks on Sunday. So he's still struggling to find it at the plate. Meanwhile they've already broken the glass on Sierra. He could provide a pinch run and defensive replacement option late in games to shore it up out there. I listened to Sunday's game while working in the yard, but the video I've seen on this guy indicates that he'd be great for that role.
