New York just completed two trades. The first with East Side.

New York sends:
P Edward Whitworth.
NYRP's 2123 #1/2 picks.
Conditional 2124 draft pick.

East Side sends:
P David Morin.
2B Thomas Cowan.

ESPR will receive NYRP's 1st round pick if New York makes the 2123 playoffs.
ESPR will receive NYRP's 2nd round pick if New York misses the 2123 playoffs.

The second deal was with Windy City.

New York sends:
NYRP's 2122 #1/2 picks.

Windy City sends:
P Timothy Lockhart.

New York gears up for one last run with the best core it's ever had. Losing McVey early was not expected, but Cowan has the RA (and the support of Li at 2B) to transition and be a solid SS. Morin will hopefully continue to benefit from rangy infielders and stabilize the back of the rotation.

Lockhart meanwhile, should slot into the top half of the rotation and provide New York with a rotation that can compete in the playoffs.

West Side sends:
1B: Arnold Booker.
RF: Derek Porter.

New York hopefully solidifies it's lineup in exchange for an franchise mainstay and some picks. West Side cleared salary and dealt two guys who werent starting from a stupid amount of offensive depth.

Draft Lotto done and updated on the site. Sorry I didn't get it sooner, I had thought that 4/1 was midnight, but realized this afternoon that it was the 9pm. Should have done it yesterday.

That's how we know she's still your girlfriend. If you were married, you'd be conditioned to take the blame.

I'm a little late announcing it, but we have a new stolen base king. David Gomez passed Badbirdz legend William Leon with his 1,411 swiped bag. Leon surrendered the crown after holding the record by a wide margin for nearly a century.

Truly incredible speed. i wonder if he'll still be stealing bases at 44 like Leon was.

With all the predraft trading I feel like I missed out on some talent in this draft. Wow what a change of the draft board right before the draft. Most the talent was sucked up in the first round. I got the player I ranked #4. I went for need more than best prospect in this draft. I have everything but a SS and 2B in my low minors now after selecting

CF- Kevin Adams who will be moved to 3B to fill in the big hole we have there currently.

Rest of my picks where nothing special missed a few backups that slide in the draft.

Trade between East Side and Fort Mifflin:

To Panty Raiders:
Wayne Summers

Calvin Burke

To Defenders:

Gilbert Yu

Larry Remaley

Kevin Rollins

Joseph Annis

Attempting to upgrade a few weak spots on my roster. Traded off my starters and 2 prospects for an attempt to make a run at a playoff birth and possible championship. Closed the gaps on my offense and defense having summers move to 3B and Burke taking over CF.

Losing 12-5 to Vegas hurts....but Swiderski allowing 8 runs for the first time since 2116 was brutal. Lasting just 1.2 innings, which is by far his shortest appearance of his career, he ends his quality start streak, just 3 starts away from having been perfect for QS this season. At a 0.86 ERA before that start, he had been in good position to break the record for single season ERA as well. Can we get a re-sim?

A re-sim saved Olsen's QS streak, which may still be a CSFBL record. But it was in it's second full season at that point.

Pretty excited to finally win a conference Championship for the first time in 11 season. Crazy to think that is almost a year real life. I have had the fortune to run up against Montreal (Now Fort Mifflin) and New York lasts two dynasty's. We where able to beat a tough team in New York. Congrats on another strong season EOCF. Ill have my pitching lined up and ready for the conference championship. Hope Peoria and Windy city play 7!

Aces and Eh's going at least six. Historically that's good for me.

"1-hit Hogan" going in Game 6 for the Aces and "Spotless Swiderski" going in Game 7, if necessary, for the Eh's. Should be in an interesting finish.
