Congrats to New York as well. Winning back to back is impressive no matter how it happens. You were definitely the best team in the league this year.

Thanks Hardy. Not sure I've ever seen a team run into as much bad luck in a single series as Bayside just did. This run feels pretty great after my last build ate it so hard. Picking up Manuel at the start of the year absolutely made the difference.

Much like Ponyboy though, nothing stays golden. Gonna have some tough decisions to make during the off-season. The core is young, but they're getting expensive!

The New York dynasty has arrived. It's going to be tough to topple for the next few seasons.

From your keyboard to God's screen my friend. I think my range up the middle will keep the team competing at a high level for a while. My lineup is geared around speed though, it doesn't have a ton of power. A couple of them are still growing into their DI ratings. As the speed rating start dropping over the next few years, I'll be interested to see if the offense shifts, or just declines.

Mickey Bennett becomes the 13th River Pirate to make the HOF since I took over and the 6th to make it on his first ballot.

Weird HOF class this year. Koehn has to be the youngest player ever selected, right?

Yikes. 36% chance. Gotta be one of the lesser deserving guys in. Had some great years but fell off super early.

All the traded picks and the draft lottery stuff are set. Let me know if you see any issues.

The future has arrived in Vegas. At least 11 players will be getting the call to the big leagues to open up the 2115 season, still waffling on the 12th.

Six of those guys go into the starting lineup. Two of them are starting pitchers. No more #1 draft pick nonsense.... I hope.

Small name change in Vegas too. I wanted to change things up, so we lost the "Las." While coming up with potential names, I realized that vegas is basically a plural of vega which means a large plain or valley. So I'm basically the Valley Aces. In Saved by the Bell, Valley was the rival school to Bayside. I've been waiting for a Valley team to break out Division 3, but perhaps I was it all along.

But I also considered going with something to the effect of the Nevada Gold Miners, Nevada Miners, etc. And because no good CSFBL name should go without a fictional fan gag, I figured instead of a "kiss cam" between innings we could have the "gold mining cam" where fans could pick their noses on screen.

Looks like April 1 falls at midnight ET tonight so the lottery will use numbers from tomorrow.

Super inconvenient timing for a guy like me who has more than $20 million in salary to call up after the flip.

Maybe the Cards will go extras tonight to give me a reason to stay up other than CSFBL (because my wife will mock me when I finally come to bed).

So goes one of the oldest team names in CCH. Definitely time for a refresh though.

Also, I don't have scouting, but that pitcher you picked up has the potential to be disgustingly good. Get him as much RA as you can at SS and 2B.

Cupp and Mesta are a damn good MIF combo, I think (at least defensively)

Yeah, they haven't made the playoffs since me and EOCF's 3rd season, which was 76 seasons ago    , so they were due for some sort of a change.

Yes they definitely are. 97 RA for Mesta at 2B and 86 RA/70 GL/84 AR for Cupp at SS. Very very good.
