Done that way too many times! One of the worst feelings you can have when filling out a long post!

Oops, posted to the wrong forum, so copying it over here.

Dbacksfan72 wrote:I think I broke the spreadsheet, but that will likely take looking at it on my work computer to see what happened (much easier to delve into excel there as opposed to my old laptop), but I got the picks and updated the forum post and csfbl draft order, so we should be good to go:

Set Numbers Winner
1st 792 East Side Panty Raiders
2nd 702 West Side Boxer Robbers
3rd 800 Aych Bee Breeze
4th 146 Hells Soulless Ginger Rebels
5th 379 River City Razorbacks
6th 094 Peoria Chiefs
7th 124 Carolina Wesofina
8th 982 St Croix Buccaneers (to Bayside)
9th 170 Potomac Nationals
10th 791 Bloomington Swamp Dragons
11th 446 Appalachian Isotopes
12th 365 Montricago City Cannons
13th 223 Katutura Badbirdz
14th 183 Palm Beach Cardinals (to Bayside)
15th 857 Montreal Expos
16th Portland Pride

It can be touchy with copy/paste and cut/paste because of all the formulas. I always tried to avoid those if at all possible. Or when you paste make sure to choose paste special/values only. Guessing that is what happened.

Hmm, I think I'd just edited your old one, but I'll see later if paste special/values will work to fix it.

I believe it happens when you copy and paste the team names. It would end up throwing off the formulas in the other cells. I ended up just getting into the habit of always pasting values only if I pasted at all.

Sure enough, that ended up being my issue. Thanks! Got the spreadsheet correct, no changes to the draft order I posted earlier.

I wonder how much Angel Taylor would have cost in past drafts holy 5 million contract. If anyone wants to try and blow me away send me some offers.

Is this the worst draft list of all time?

Loaded up on pitching today. I've got roughly 2-3 years left where the core of this squad is capable of winning a championship. Hopefully adding a borderline ace and some bullpen help puts us over the edge again.

Saskatcehwan finally gets the clear-cut #1 we've been wanting for awhile. If McNeil and Clark continue performing like they have this year, Swiderski-McNeil-Clark will be a sick 3-man rotation in the playoffs.

Now to weep over next year's FOA...

He might be your "clear cut #1" but when you cut the check will it clear?

Finally I can get away from my 4 man rotation and give Simon, Canella, and McLeod a rest. I'm sure they appreciate it.

Nothing like a decent team putting on a fire sale to spark off a trading frenzy!

So glad they changed the salary formula. We wouldn't have been seeing this otherwise.

I suppose so. I was like, Bloomington had nothing to do with my trades today. But then realized Prettyman was available because he got Swiderski.

I didn't really want Manuel's $4M on my books pitching out of the bullpen and hoped I could talk someone into a late first round pick and Bayside came out firing with one. And then just randomly shot an offer idea out to Saskatchewan this morning when he told me he got Swiderski and was going to trading block Prettyman. And he said yes.

Pretty much the core of my pitching staff is 26 now with Nelson at 25 and Hogan at 27, along with Stewart at 33 my old holdouts. And one of these days I'll decide I can stomach Stewart's $5M in my bullpen since he's averaging an out shy of 6 innings per start.

So when the day was done, I have traded a 36 year old starting pitcher for a 26 year old starting pitcher and saved $1.4M by trading a 2023 first round pick for a 2019 one.

Umm wow...after talking down the draft class, Windy City is very pleased to select CF Mark Nichols at #21. 75RA and 97SL potentials with a very good chance of hitting them by age 23 season. Very unexpected.

East Side came out of this weak draft with 2 starting quality players. Front office is excited to welcome maybe my first ever fully developed player Angel Taylor, and Jose Hill, David White.

Angel was projected as a SS by his agent he will be moving over to 3B to fill the giant hole that is currently open there by. This will allow last years first round pick John Smith to start training for a role in CF. Angel is going to come right up to the majors and slide into the DH slot and bat 2nd.

David White looks to be a future RF with a strong DI and arm should be a 9 hole hitter to turn over the lineup.

Jose Hill nice cheap bullpen arm!!!

Have a few pieces for trade if anyone is looking!!! Ill post a block. I may be late to the party on this.

Nichols was probably my first target at 23, but surprised Floyd Smith fell to me. Should make a decent bullpen arm.
