9 games left. All 6 teams in Dean are at least +50 in run differential. The Cannons are in last at 76-76. Not sure if I've ever seen a division with 6 teams above .500.

The second playoff spot should be interesting as well. Katutura holds a 2.5 lead over ESPR and Valley and plays both of them to wrap up The regular season.

So from what I can see, this is how the second spot in Dean looks.

If East Side wins their final three games against the Cannons, I think they're in. Division record is the first tie breaker. If ESPR wins out, they'll have the best one and at worst, have the same overall record as Valley or Katutura.

Valley and Katutura have two games left, against each other.

Both teams need to win out and need ESPR to lose at least once to make the playoffs. In that situation, if Katutura wins out, they'd have the better division record. If Valley wins out, they'd have the same division record as ESPR, but a better run differential which I think is the second tie breaker.

If Valley and Katutura split, they'll end with the same record and the Badbirdz will own the better division record. In that situation, ESPR would need to lose twice for Katurua to make it.

He would need to go 15-30 (.333) the rest of the way to avoid being the worst and 14-31 (.311) to only tie the previous record. Yikes.

Well Peoria went on a nice run of 11-25 (.306) to give themselves a chance to avoid the worst record. With 9 games left, they need to win 4 of 9 to avoid the worst, 3 of 9 to tie it. Fortunately for them, they are done with Windy City, but still have 2 more with 2nd place NEST, 3 with 3rd place Carolina, and 4 with 5th place River City.

37-123. Easily missed the record by finishing 6-4.

That was crazy. 3-way tie for 2nd? I can't remember seeing that before.

You have to remember your team is coming into its prime. You are in an active division but Montreal and East Side are starting to age out. Although I have some youth in the pipe lines to stay annoying good as EOCF likes to say lol.

Awesome division race and better finish. I was trying to sell pieces off as I was double digits out of the playoffs for most the year. Tough break for valley and Katara. Hopefully we can make a championship run for Smithbut it probably will be 4 and done.

I see what you're doing there!

New York's pitching is not as strong as the previous few years. Our offense is absolutely insane, but its still pitching that wins championships.

LCS so far. Simon pitched 10 perfect innings. McLeod pitched 8.1, only giving up 1 R. You would think we are up 2-0 in the series but we are down 0-1 since we couldn't get more than 1 run in 19 innings and lost it in the 20th. Wow.

I'd seen the game, but hadn't noticed that Simon was perfect through 10. The rest of that game must have been ultra frustrating to watch from the bench...

Wow and I just noticed that Stewart of Windy City had a no hitter through 7 before being pulled and they lost. What is going on??

New York 2B'man James Li surprisingly wins the MVP award. Fellow River Pirate David Gomez ended the season leading in the polls and by all accounts should have been a unanimous winner after having one of the best season's in recent CCH history (1.106 OPS, 115.28 LWTS, 159 SB, .498 OBP etc.). This game seems to really prioritize RBI when it comes to MVP's though and Gomez only had 94 as he hit leadoff most of the year (he scored 150 runs).

Congrats to Li though! He set NYRP records this year with a .384 average and 243 hits.

New York vs Bayside 4.0 because apparently a trilogy was not enough.

Don't despair yet. New York is 9-0 on the road this postseason, 1-4 at home. We had to win all 4 road games against Windy City. That fully validates the 43-37 home record we had during the regular season (61-19 on the road). I'm not sure what I did to make my pitching staff so bad at Steve The Pirate Memorial Stadium, but you've got a good shot at taking control of the series.
