Just FYI, I'm not going to have time to do the draft lottery anymore. I know I mentioned it quite a while ago but it has to happen now. Hopefully someone else can take this task over. I may still be able to do the next one but after that I'm done I think and going to just go back to being a regular player instead of a semi-commish. The 3 month old is taking up most of my spare time at this point and I'm slowly cutting back on several things. Unfortunately this is the first cut from CSFBL of some more that are coming later.

Sounds like you are stuck at Dad Level 1. Dad Level 2 is when you master caring for the newborn and doing additional tasks like video gaming and draft lottery management. We'll give you time to learn.

Is Dad Level 3 when the newborn can take over and run their own CSFBL team?

I don't mind taking over if needed.

Game 3 was the revenge of Stokes. 2 hit shutout against his former team.

And it's nice to know that with all the changes in the game, you can still expect the bullpen management to screw you over. So many excellent and well compensated options available for my manager, I have four guys out there who could legitimately start for any other team in the league), but he goes with the guy who has a job because he's cheap and he gives up the bloop and the blast with two outs in the 8th inning.

Aces dispatch the Eh's in 6 games, improving to a 7-4 series record against the Eh's.

The series history is pretty interesting. If a series goes 6 or 7 games, the Aces win it, 6-0 series record.

If it goes 5 or less, the Eh's hold a 4-1 series record advantage.

It took 10 innings, but the Aces staved off elimination and head back home where they have won a league leading 105 games the last two seasons.

Which means they'll get knocked around in Game 6, obviously.

How the heck did I end up in the World Series again? That pitching staff has no business being active this late into the fall.

It's New York's 5th appearance in the last 6 seasons. They'll at least have a punchers chance at their 4th title in that span.

Congrats EOCF. Choking away WS games is a Bayside tradition and game 6 added to it. Was a weird series up to that point lol.

Did the powers that be tweak the salary formula already? My range guys are no longer prohibitively expensive.

Yup. The last post on this announcement is where they talked about the tweak. So, high RA guys will still be more expensive just not as freakishly expensive as they were last year. Thank goodness. Paying Roberts $3 mil is painful, as I expected to pay his weak bat around $1.5 mil/year before the changes, but alot easier to stomach than the $4 mil he demanded last year.

That's really good to hear. Keeping that formula would've single handedly ended this build 4-5 years early. It was even starting to erode my interest in the game. Hopefully one year of very little allocations won't hurt my squad that much.

I got the 2119 Draft Lottery Thread up and updated the picks on the CSFBL. If anyone notices any errors, let me know and I'll get them fixed. It was my first season doing it...so....could happen. I did get some extra practice, though, and learned that you should not accidentally close the tab you have your fully-completed-but-not-yet-posted-thread in....whoops

Yeah they went too far with the first one. This seems much better as far as salary for the value of defense at important positions. I got some drops on a couple of my guys as well. Still expensive as they should be because they are very valuable, but not INSANE like it was.
