He's like Jack in "This Is Us". (I'm thinking of the scene with the car salesman.)

Im thinking of a new scene where he is a house cleaner and burns everyone's house down after cleaning them out.

Or more specifically, a house cleaner who forgot to turn off the crock-pot and got out of the house with a pillowcase full of valuable draft picks and all-stars.

Nothing like setting you draft list with 20 mins till the draft runs. 1 mins here we go!

Somebody is excited about his draft class, has two thumbs and is pointing it at me!

Michael Barr - CF

Aaron Mifflin- 2B

- Got my 4 and 5 ranked players in the draft with Barr and Mifflin. Ranked them for the Power potential that they carry with them. They are a few years off but if they continue to develop could be the heart of my order in the coming years. With the lack of power hitters in this draft was hoping one may fall, never thought I would get both. Barr looks to be moving to catcher, and Mifflin possible to 3B/CF

Samuel Thaler - SP - 19 - #7 ranked (#4 pitcher) - One of my typical back end of the rotation starting pitchers. Has high endurance which looks very promising. Hopefully he becomes a #3 on in my rotation to help shorting up my playoff rotation.

Micheal Phillips - RP - Will be a nice bullpen arm. Possible a closer

Vernon Coleman and Edwin Thomas - both going to be nice cost control pieces in the future.

As usual, West Side came into the draft with a focus on pitching. As usual, we came away with another stud hitter.

#9 P Michael Sung (Ranked #4): My 3 top ranked players were the top 3 selections, so I am pleased to see that Sung dropped. His 99/99 FI makes him big-league ready now, but he will get at least one boosted flip before coming to the majors.

#14 CF Howard Pair (Ranked #6): I ranked 2 hitters in my top 14. So of course I hit on one of them. All four of Pair's hitting potentials range between 81-93 and he should be about ready to go by the time West Side is truly ready to compete for a championship. With a high 80's AR rating, he should slot into RF long-term.

#35 P Michael Neville (Ranked #12): It will take time for Neville to grow, but he ultimately profiles as a mid-rotation player. High CO should offset mediocre EN and a low 80's SY will help his mediocre FI/PO.

#43 P Leland Fleming (Ranked #32): Fleming will likely shake out as a bullpen arm with spot-starter upside. I feel that it is a testament to our league that between the 35th and 43rd pick, my available ranked players went from 12th to 32nd.

My final pick was a salary scrub.

Martinez, Rivera and Pair currently sit in my minors. All are all 20 and all profile as middle of the order hitters. This is in addition to Samuelson and West Side's current lineup, which ranks 3rd in runs scored and no players over the age of 25. Needless to say, West Side will be in the market for some pitching down the road.

This is pretty much how I anticipate the playoff series between Jacksonville and Bayside will go down:

Hopefully this year the Crimsons will finally break through.

I'm boycotting something if Kittel beats Gomez for MVP. Beyond the fact that Gomez is putting up one of the best seasons in modern-league history, he also leads Kittel in every single meaningful category (other than home runs) and he leads them by wide margins in most cases. Gomez has been batting around .400 all season and his OPS only recently dropped under 1.200. Not to mention Kittell is playing on the second worst team in the league. Despite all that, Kittel currently leads.

Totally unrelated; Sweeting is coasting to his 7th straight Cy Young. He's already ahead of legends like Parrott and Powell. This one would put him ahead of Clyde, Luttrell and Olsen and ties him with Smith and Torbert for the most all time. Smith won 5 in a row, Torbert won 3.

Sweeting's only 30 :o  .

I'm hoping for another CY young, but Fries might have other plans. I'm also using Sweeting a little heavy in the hopes of chasing the career wins title but he's still a big underdog there.
