For the record, I've been playing with defensive catchers as much as possible for a little while now. I haven't found anything conclusive, but I've been trying to give it a shot.

I was giving catchers a look earlier and I think I found that the guys with high RA get 50-100 more outs over a season and also that guys with higher GL have more double plays on their stats. RA helping with snagging foul balls? GL helping with throw outs at home on potential sac flies? Those are theories as I didn't look that deep. Just compared the stat lines of active catchers in our league.
