Ralph Clark had a no-hitter on 77 pitches through 8 innings. Only being up 3-0 caused the closer settings to kick in and bring Harrison in out of the bullpen. He promptly struck out the first batter and then gave up a triple. He struck out the next two to nail down the save, but the damage was done.

And then in his 9th start, he throws a no hitter against Jacksonville. Wow.

New York blanks Peoria 22-0 over the course of 3 games.

Also, props to the Mauler's for being in the playoff chase!

I missed posting about this over the weekend, but in our 8-0 Win over St. Croix, Gerard Bailey became the 25th pitcher in the league to reach 300 wins!

At 36, and suffering from a hard decline over the past couple seasons, I don't expect that he'll work his way much further up the list, but a fun milestone to put next to his 2 CY Young awards and 3 WS rings as he rides out his final years into the HOF.

Darin Gonzalez came a HBP away from his 2nd perfect game. Still completed his 3rd career no hitter in the past 2 seasons after none in his first 8. This one in a 1-0 nail biter with the only run of the game coming from a HR from my soft hitting defensive specialist 3B. Of course.

David Gomez now owns the single season stolen bases record with 161.

He also now owns the record for most times caught stealing in a season with 54!

Enrique Williams has 66 home runs through 159 games. The third most hit in a single season by an Aces player in franchise history. Most home runs by an Aces player since Chris Jackson hit 59 in 2049, almost 70 seasons ago.

Currently tied for 20th most in a season all time. Only three players in the last 40 years have hit more.

That would be as many CS as we have team attempts. And 3x as many attempts as we have outside of 1 guy. :o

WOW! Bayside takes a 3-2 lead in the World Series behind Raymond Simon's perfect game. 9 innings, no hits, no walks, 11 strikeouts.

I'm not even mad. That might be the single best pitching performance in league history.
