New York barely avoided losing 10 in a row via sweeps by River City, Peoria and Palm Beach. That's some aggressive futility.

There is also a pretty decent chance that Gibson could send a 90 loss team to the playoffs. Has that happened before?

A 31 inning consecutive scoreless inning streak came to an end for Aces closer David Prettyman. The streak spanned 34 games, 31.1 innings, 1.09 WHIP, 9.9 K/9, and 28-for-28 in save opportunities. He had been #3 on the Cy Young chart.

Despite the pair of runs, he still converted his 29th straight save though. He is 47-for-50 in save opportunities since becoming the Aces closer last summer.

Outside of a perfect game, probably one of the most dominant pitching performances you'll ever see.

Tommy Hogan 1 hits the Eh's over 9 innings while striking out 16 and walking none. The lone hit came in the bottom of the 7th, a single by their #3 hitter. 100 pitches, 87 for strikes. He threw just 13 balls to 28 batters.

In Game 4, Swiderski is jealous of the attention and tosses a no-hitter in a 1-0 victory to put the Eh’s up 3-1 in the series.

He realized he'd given up 12 runs in his past 2 starts vs you, so it was about time he evened it out.
