Perhaps you shouldn't have been so kind.

OU loses to Houston to start the day.

Yeah, the Tully household has seen better sports days. Sooners still have a long way to go. No margin for error, but a lot of games left to be played. Like I've said, the Cardinals are just an average club this season.... 8-)

ABC prime-time game didn't disappoint, 4 hour instant classic as Texas defeats #10 Notre Dame 50-47 in double overtime.

Longhorns set an attendance record with 102,315 fans in DKR.

So in the opening weekend 2 of Top 5 & 3 of Top 10 lose their 1st game.

Definitely was an exciting game. Horns looked good. Hard to stop the truck playing QB and Bueschel did well for his 1st game. Hope the Horns can stay undefeated till we play them and....hope we don't lose another in 2 weeks.... 8-)

Somebody explain this one please:

#15 Houston at home beats #3 Oklahoma pretty dominantly. Moves to #6

Un-ranked Texas at home beats #10 Notre Dame in a 2OT nailbiter. Moves to #11.

How in the heck does Texas jump so darn high & blow by so many ranked teams who won ??????

Simple, the NCAA desperately wants Texas to be good. CFB is a healthier, more profitable business when Beevo is relevant.
