#15 Houston at home beats #3 Oklahoma pretty dominantly. Moves to #6

Un-ranked Texas at home beats #10 Notre Dame in a 2OT nailbiter. Moves to #11.

How in the heck does Texas jump so darn high & blow by so many ranked teams who won ??????

Because rankings while teams have played one game are dumb?

Same reason a higher ranked team beats a lower ranked team and the lower ranked team inevitably falls in the rankings, despite them being right.

No doubt chevy. Should be a close game I would think. Sooners win they're back in consideration. Same goes for Texas at Cal, which could be a high scoring affair. No team can afford more than 1 loss. The Big XII is a tough league. Outside of Kansas there are no easy opponents. After playing Ohio State and a week off we go to TCU then play the Longhorns. Do or die each week, but that's why the best athletes go to the power schools. For the challenge and games like this.

Houston vs Cincy tonight on ESPN at 6:30 may end up being a competitive matchup. Was last year.

Miami about to fall out of the top-25 if my alma mater has anything to do with it.

Hopefully the coaching staff learned from their play calling predictability in Knoxville and can actually score in the second half.

Stanford has been the class of the Pac-12 in three of the last four seasons, but on Friday night in Seattle, they didn’t belong on the same field as the Washington Huskies.

Washington dominated Stanford in every facet of the game in an emphatic 44-6 win at Husky Stadium. By the time halftime rolled around, the Huskies outgained Stanford 225 yards to 83, had six sacks and led 23-0. Things weren’t any better for Stanford in the second half.

A&M gets the good ol' SEC boost I'm sure. I'm actually surprised that WASH wasn't ranked about them.

Washington beats Cal 66-27. They or Louisville will more than likely be the 4th team in the playoff this week.... 8-)
