St. Louis, 11-9 @ Arizona, 11-11

Wainwright, 0-3, 7.25 ERA vs Patrick Corbin, 1-2, 3.51

Absolutely time for Waino to get right. GOTTA get it together, we need our 'Ace' back pronto.

Time for Wainwright to start turning the ship in the right direction. And this should be a great test up against one of the better offenses in the league.

I found him some command...

Holy cow, this offense the Cards have found. Would not have predicted this going into the season, hope it lasts.

Leading 10-4 in the bottom of the 7th.

We've been playing against the worst pitching in the NL since the season has started with the exception of the Cubs. I think we'll get a better read on the offense by the end of May when we've played tougher competition.. Like you said though, it's fun to watch now.

I like looking at last year. We're clearly better than Milwaukee (68 wins), Cincinnati (64), and Atlanta (67). We won series' against San Diego (74) and at least a split against Arizona (79). But we got rocked by Pittsburgh (98) and Chicago (97). So ultimately that probably puts us in the 85-90 win range as a floor, IMO.

Normally I'd agree to look back to last season, but the Brewers and Reds both did some heavy duty house cleaning.. Not even close to the same teams they were a year ago.
